Hi there! I’m Alexey.
You’ll usually find me singing along to Ms. Rachel’s “I’m so Happy”, while cooking dinner in the kitchen, my 2 year old practicing her culinary skills at the kitchen island and my 6 month old chilling in his high chair chewing on a silicone spoon.
I started this blog because after struggling through a pretty intense postpartum with my daughter, I’ve had it on my heart to help other moms navigate their postpartum journey. I joined a popular social media thread in hopes that I could share my real life personal experiences and offer tips that I personally used on my kids. But to my surprise, I was ridiculed, shamed and eventually banned for sharing what worked for me as a mom of two. It was at that moment, I decided I was going to create something of my own that I couldn’t be banned from, that would help me reach as many moms as I could who were desperately looking for answers postpartum and not finding what they needed.
I believe that you do not have to struggle through postpartum alone. Postpartum is a very delicate time in a mothers life and is a time when she needs as much support as she can possibly get. You can navigate postpartum without feeling like you’re a bad mom, like you aren’t cut out for this, or like you’re going to lose your mind.
My goal with this blog is to help you learn simple ways you can navigate postpartum a little easier and with a bit more confidence, especially as a first time mom. I hope that you find the answers to your most pressing questions and that you take what you need and leave the rest for other moms who are struggling too.
